Suchada is an independent film-maker and visual artist based in Bangkok. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication Arts from Assumption University. Her passion for the art of cinema inspired her to become an independent filmmaker, assuming various responsibilities with both independent and mainstream studio films in Thailand.
Suchada’s personal work ranges from video installations to short films. Personal experience and daily interaction provide the vantage point from which she explores the effects and significance of self-esteem, social milieu, social events, and human communication.
Her work has been shown at the 7th Busan Asian Short Film Festival in South Korea (2006), the 11th Independent Film & Video Awards Festival in Hong Kong (2006), the 8th Cinemanila International Film Festival in the Philippines (2006), “Head or Tail?” Contemporary Media and Video Works, Pallas Studio in Ireland (2007), and etc.
She is currently working in other types of media like writing, photography, and design.
